My friend Ruben Ruiz, owner of the Pan Duro ranch in the Sierra
Madre of northern Mexico, is offering five-day God’s Middle Finger
tours to some of the locations described in chapters two and three of my book.
I will be along to tell stories around the campfire, and so will Ruben’s cowboy
Guillermo Plutarco. We will be travelling on foot and by four-wheel drive, and
talking about the history, biology, folklore and latest news coming out of the
Sierra Madre. If people are interested, Ruben can also offer some
horse and mule riding. Accommodations are in the moderately
comfortable ranch house with a few nights camping if the weather is
